I’m Siti Jamil, a Legal English and professional communication trainer and teacher based in the Czech Republic. I graduated with an LL.B (Hons.) in Law at Aberystwyth University in the U.K. before moving to Prague around ten years ago. Since then, my career has taken me from law into English language teaching and professional communication training.

I’ve worked with lawyers, businesses and law firms of all sizes, often in demanding and highly specialised environments. This experience has given me a practical understanding of the kind of English that is required and expected in their day-to-day work.

Alongside my work with professionals, I also teach English to young children. This varied experience has given me a greater appreciation of the different ways people learn and communicate.

I was born in Sarawak, Malaysia, and grew up speaking English, Malay and Sarawak Malay. I also speak Czech at B1 level.
